1. Your posts must be reasonably polite.
You are not permitted to curse directly at someone ("fuck you", "you asshole", etc.) unless it is obvious (to everyone reading) that you are joking and it is not malicious. You also may not make rude and public "calling outs" of any particular individual. An entire thread dedicated to "calling out" one person is unnecessary and rude and accomplishes nothing. It turns into an ugly mess. If you have to say something like that to someone do it in private. No public attacks of any individual, group, or organization will be tolerated.
2. No racist, objectionable, highly sexual, or violent posts will be accepted.
Obviously we make some raunchy jokes on the forum from time to time, but if you make an explicitly violent, or otherwise highly objectionable post it will be removed without warning and you may well be spoken to about its content. Similarly, we do not accept any racist humor in any form whatsoever.
3. Be mindful of creating threads discussing controversial subjects.
Many people are not mature enough to discuss politics, religion, philosophy, sex, or any other highly charged topic. Making references to one's personal views is acceptable if it is in a post about other subjects, but do not attack, mock, or get nasty with someone regardless of their views or if you agree or not. This includes controversial subjects. What is or is not controversial is determined by the staff, but we will be reasonable with our decisions. If you wish to start a debate thread, do it tastefully.
4. Signatures, "titles" and other such things may not be used to insult or demean others.
If you have a signature that is explicitly rude to other individuals you will be asked to change it. If you refuse, the administration will change it for you. Nothing on your profile may be pointedly nasty towards any other member of the community, any ideal or motif, or any group in the dream.
5. All administration decisions are to be considered final.
If you have issues or want to continue a debate or plead your case please feel free to message a member of the administration team (preferably the person that made the decision) to discuss it with them or question their decision if you so desire but that must be done in private. And done with respect.
6. If your post is removed or modified by a member of the administration, do not re-post it.
If we removed your post it was for good reason and re-posting it or changing the modification made will result in swift administrative action and is wholly unacceptable.
7. Do not nitpick, pull apart, complain about, or dissect community information, articles, or other such things unless critique is requested.
No one likes it when you do. The community information may be asked questions about and discussed, but making threads (or posts) solely for the purpose of inciting an argument or whining because you haven't gotten your way is entirely unacceptable and makes you look childish. Attacking member members or being deliberately cruel in discussions of works will not be tolerated.
