1. Articles must be constructive, deeply thought out essays about the subject. They are not rants, they are not demands of members, they are simply articles detailing aspects of the subject being discussed from that members perspective.
2. Articles are expected to be of decent length. There is no specific character requirements or paragraph requirements, but they should be more than a single paragraph or two paragraphs of text.
3. All articles must be gone over for grammatical and spelling errors. We are not asking for perfection just that members check their work as best you are able (your, you're; their, they're, there) and be as clean and precise as you are able to make them within reason.
4. Cite all sources if you use them. Plagiarism isn't cool anywhere, so if you use quotes from someone else or are referencing something else, please note the work at the bottom somehow, or put it in the body of the work.
5. All articles are subject to removal by the administration if they are found to be offensive, objectionable, failing to comply to standards. If removed, the admins will cite why the article was removed. With that in mind, I suggest that you keep backup copies of all your articles in case of removal, forum crash, or other issues.
6. All articles must be posted in the appropriate section. That is to say, art related tutorials do not belong in the mathematics section, grammar tutorials don't go in the history boards, etc. If you are uncertain where to post something, contact a moderator or admin and they can point you in the right direction.
